seriously guys this is your lifeline

get some proper rope cleaner.

less than a tenner and does 10-20 washes

made by beal who make rope.available from most arb suppliers:thumbup:

 

or if your that tight and don't care use a minuscule amount of non bio but still would say a bit of the rope cleaner

While I agree with your point the commercialy available rope cleaner is just a detergent in a diferent bottle. It would seem then that "proper rope cleaner" is detergent and so is fairy non bio (other brands are available)

again I agree but I am sure it has been tested to see what affects it has on the rope.

sadly i would rather be safe than sorry and my lifeline is slightly more important to me than 50p a time or less.

recon leccy costs more to wash it than the cleaner
