The video makes it seem amazing.

It is going to be expensive as you need pully to get the max pull out of it. I also like you don't have a wire rope.

I do like the idea of it for. If you do lots of little small woodland thinning i think it would be ace. It's twice as much as a turfor but i have no doubt that it will be 4 times as good.

There has been lots videos on here recently of little winches and they all look very nice. £1200+vat is expensive but it does allow you to work smart which is something we should all aim to do.

Been using one for four years with the skidding cone, great for extracting long poles up banks. Recently used it to remove parts of a mature beech from a lake. The tree attachment is extremely useful, keeps the winch off the ground and level, it's got an oil tilt switch to protect the engine so needs to be used flatImageUploadedByTapatalk1353446247.011433.jpg.16eaf1a238f5c5270d12e47ff53da7dc.jpg

We have 1 & it's an awesome piece of kit, if u can't get the land rover (winch) anywhere near then you can just carry this to the site and with the aid of a couple of snatch blocks (like marsh monkey says) to quad the rope up and we use a 75 mtr rope you can achieve a pull of around 4 tonne, does'nt make sense when only get a 1000kg rating but it can be done as we've pulled some big lumps of timber that the land rover wouldn't touch! So in not so many words BUY 1 cos they are 1 of the best bits of kit we use and I won't bother with a winch on the next land rover!
