  1. Hi Steve, I know you say a large tree but what quantities are we looking at roughly? Might be able to sort something out if I know how much we are dealing with.
  2. I can vouch for that we've had Sam this week refreshing us and if you bring the supplies sam will bring the stove, We had a full English on the first day and bacon butties and sausage butties the next day!!! Top bloke is sam AKA Dave, he might explain if you ask him!!
  3. No not chipped or tracked in anyway, it is usually hidden out of sight but the one time it is on view it dissapears!!
  4. Our jensen A430t was nicked over the weekend from Gainsborough in lincolnshire, it was locked in a palisade fencing compound but they just broke the hinges off and drove off with it through a hole they'd cut in the hedge, it was towed away with (i'm guessing by the tyre marks) a transit tipper or something of that nature with twin wheels @ rear. Chipper was a 2006 model with very low hours on, approximately 500 in the standard paint work on a brian james tilt bed trailer, i doubt very much we will ever see it again but just letting all you people out there the thieving bas***ds are out n about so keep that gear well locked up and hidden away!!
  5. We have 1 & it's an awesome piece of kit, if u can't get the land rover (winch) anywhere near then you can just carry this to the site and with the aid of a couple of snatch blocks (like marsh monkey says) to quad the rope up and we use a 75 mtr rope you can achieve a pull of around 4 tonne, does'nt make sense when only get a 1000kg rating but it can be done as we've pulled some big lumps of timber that the land rover wouldn't touch! So in not so many words BUY 1 cos they are 1 of the best bits of kit we use and I won't bother with a winch on the next land rover!
  6. I've seen a few of danny macaskill's films the guy is a god on a bike!!!!!!! This clip shows you an insight of wot can be done on a bike out of nothing?? if your name is danny macaskill of course!!
  7. I'm wearing the protector pro's, can't fault em but the trekkers look nice too!!
  8. I would say the only other competencies required other than the relavant chainsaw tickets would be water safety training as thats all the EA employees have to my knowledge
