Once upon a time,

The lonely woodsman lay down his Gransfor axe, exhausted after a long day, the light was now fading fast. He contemplated the evening ahead of him, and nervously headed off. The walk to his cabin was a long one today, and he had put it off for as long as the sun would let him.

Luckily he had Arbtalk with Tapatalk on his new Ipad 2 with retina display...even as the sun dipped low above the Horizon replaced by the moon casting it,s blue rays through the tracery of the Forests trees...He was able to swipe through "Todays threads" in glorious High defenition just as long as his wi fi connection held out....he smiled to himself as he caught up with the latest lunges on Stephen,s lunge thread.........

After a few hours sleep in his cabin, his alarm went off far too early for a Sunday morning, reminding him of the fact he had to load up his saws, trailer and tidying up gear to load up and tidy the last of the wood now the wagons had finished when all he really wanted to do was eat a big greasy fry up

when, as luck would have it, a catering van appeared outside his cabin, as if by magic. A rather beautiful young maid, dressed strangely, as a fairy godmother, but in the style of a tree surgeon, with kevlar tights and stihl braces ( a rather weird combination, he thought) was frying big ,plump sausages.

After a massive breakfast and 'a little something special' he reflected that this was after all not such a bad Sunday

..... the tidying up took priority as the kids were being taken out to watch Skyfall (by his ex wife - even though his son was only 8 years old they both felt the violence was moderate and he'd been asking to see it all week).... he had finished pulling all the sandwich wrappers out the truck and was just cleaning out his 200T when....

But where would he find this trio of woodland warriors? Of course! In the Shire of Kent it is told that they are always to be found in "The Arborist,s Arms"...so off to the Shire flew Kevin on his Rocket powered log...And sure enough in the distance he could see a faint glow of a log fire in the Vale of Hamsteed and the shadow of three Hobbit like creatures drinking on Flaggons of Stella...Kevin approached the large Wooden Door (Possibly Elm supplied by Big J) and flung it open...inside it revealed indeed it was Mick,Bolam and Rich Rule! "F...k me!",said Mick..."it,s Kevin Mcloud".."What are you doing here?"..."I have a favour to ask of you all"..."there is a Forest beyond the Shire of Kent, and it is about to be clear felled by the Evil Lord Johny Walker of Otley Shire!" "You must meet with a woodsman there before it,s too late".....NOW HURRY!
