Ive been called lots of things over the years but never any of those, you just keep tickling the trigger until it will sort of idle all be it unsteady, eventually auto tune will re set the the mixture and set the rpm to 2750 which is the CE standard for the saw to idle, cant really say any more if people are not willing to accept facts.

Not your good self but i was called a dealer/repair agent, or work for an arb company, sorry none of these, didnt mean to affend anybody, this information was left out of the instruction book as it was thought that most users would leave them idling anyway,, but rest assured it is a fact, be my guest and check it out with Husqvarna technical.

What I do to set the auto tune up is, fill it with fuel and oil' put the choke on, pull it until it fires then click the throttle to half choke then pull it again until it ticks over then I instantly cut wood. Once I'm done cutting I turn it off I repeat this process until I have to go home it's worked for me for about 2 years of owning auto tune saws. The process is a little different with my 540 I have to say profanities to it before durning and after cutting if I dont it'll just break
