1200kg??? woodchip that is denser than water??? i'm not so sure about that?

 

Well according to that link seasoned dry lignum vitae can weigh 1370 kg so when wet and compressed chip, what could that weigh then? I didn't say fact just possibility a from the info in that table

 

I have read that Solid wood has the DENSITY of 1.5 times that of water but not necessarily the weight

That seems miles out to me, the chip box on my mod holds around 7 cube and that full can weigh 3tonne.

 

My ifor williams tipper had 3 ton on it when weighed which worked out to be 6 m3 of conifer chip

Same here, Atlas trailer full to the oxters, brimming over and rather full also weighs 2.7ton.

The Iveco tipper, without any greedy boards just its low sides almost overflowing comes in at a ton.

We weighed in at our mates quarry.
