Reckon you're right Paul but why buy both when for less money a Hitch Hiker will do the same or for three times the price, so will a Unicender.

Personally I'd go with the single device.

Having said that, it's wonderfully shiny and the HH isn't.

What I meant is, why buy a gadget that does DRT only. I'd advise a Uni or HH as they do single and double rope perfectly.

If you insist on bombing out of the tree you will wear them very quickly! Not that different to glazing a friction cord. A little care and consideration with all your kit pays dividends!
