These are what you need, Thorne proof and you can still use a chainsaw/hedge trimmer, even used them climbing before now, well topping a Hawthorne hedge. Last a couple of years if you look after them. Which makes £30 not too bad.

 

used a pair of welders gauntlets for bramble etc, no problems and cheaper :thumbup:

They look a bit girly to me :001_tt2::lol:

 

Nought wrong with being 'Girly'! personally I find my 'Harke waterproof jacket gives good protection from thorns, and chainsaw gloves, but if its hot weather that can be uncomfortable! (I have noticed that men dont seem to feel thorns, or are they just being very macho?)
