Tree tags

Hi all,

We've been asked by one of our larger clients if we can create a database of the various trees on their sites in our area.

Part of the contract is to individually number the trees.

Anyone know where we can get hold of personalised tree tags.

We'd need about 250 of them

Thanks, Dave

P.s. i can find the normal ally round ones with just the numbers on. what i want is ones which can have the co. name on them

I've just got 1,000 round number tags for this year's planting , we just put up a data base on the PC , number 1 = oak = it place on site. The trees we are putting in are all about 3/5 years old so we cant put a nail in them we tie with plastic tie. it works very well for us, over the number of years.

If you need any more help just reply.

I can understand why tags might be need in densely planted areas but why are tags still used in parks and the like when you could just map them?

Also why are metal tags still used when you can get paper mad from recycled plastic bags that you can print on and which are water proof rip proof etc?

Doesn't seem very green to me?
