On android: When viewing a photo can't return to the thread will just exit the whole thread

When I view Arbtalk without logging in, the top 2 Forum items are :-

Arbtalk Charity Raffle 2016, and . . . .

News

 

When I view Arbtalk after logging in, those two items do not appear.

My Forum viewing starts with Tree Care Forum.

 

Why is this and is it something that I should be able to rectify?
