'Sunday heavy rain quickly clearing east, then wintry showers following. Widespread gales, some severe gales. Monday and Tuesday cold, with sleet, hail or snow showers, but lighter winds'.

I remember the last lot of storms, I was getting all excited, watching the weather forecast, sharpening the saws, checking I had plenty of oil and petrol…..then finally when it did come – Jesus! I wish it hadn’t! We were none stop for a period of two weeks clearing-up. Must be getting old!

No we don't work together, just the same county. I wish we could take the phone off the hook we have contracts to forfill
