Anyone use Roka -e cambium saver ??

Just ordered the above as it looks a good piece of kit , but have never heard anyone mention them . Any users or feedback ?? Thanks ..

Morning B2T....hold your horses a moment! there was a thread or some posts on here about it...could i just say that i purchased a Teufelberger pulley saver at the APF for about £120 and it feels like you,re gliding around the tree(used with a Spiderjack) the pinto Rig pulley is ultra smooth.....i would urge you to reconsider the Roc-e and at least have a try/look at the pulley saver....it,s magic!

I have never used one becasue I rejected it on the ground.

 

It will work ok but its a bit on the heavy and clunky side, the "horse shoe" bit is a real candidate for geting snaged on the way down.

+1 on the pulley saver! Why have less friction from the roka when you can have no friction? Also you can't choke the roka on a stem, you can only have it round a fork which is a bit limiting.

No offence but I don't get why people ask what something is like AFTER they buy it!

Its a step up from a bog standard cambium saver at least

Why buy a friction saver to make climbing a bit easier?

A Rope Wrench will make climbing a lot easier and costs less!

There,s always one:001_rolleyes: Yes OMT i hear ya,i will move to the SRT side but in the last year i,ve bought all brand new gear to suit my Spiderjack.....if i get a rope wrench i,m going to have to buy a new static rope for a start...and i am finding my set up very easy to move around the tree with...almost effortless...so at the moment it aint broke....so i,m not going to fix it:thumbup: But i will try wrench soon.......

I had a 1.25m delivered yesterday, but looks a bit short if choking round a stem so bagged it up again.

I got the 1.25m Pulleysaver and its the right length. Never needed the longer one.

I hear ya, I wouldn't move to SRT if I had all your new gear. The move for me was easy as my LJ was very old. Also, friction used to drive me mad!

They do 1.25, 2.5 or 4 metre lengths!
