Just wondering if anyone has a Avant 200 or 400. Wondering what the attachments are like, what size logs they could lift. Thinking about using one as a 4x4 lifter, shoveler and possibly some of the clearing attachments for a 5 acre woodland and whatever work i could get to utilize it. are they both easily trailer-able? they look like fun

All on firm ground though my experience is with a multione. It bellys out if driven on the woodchip pile. A tractor and loader doesn't.

In winter It gets a treelifter mounted on the front and I often have to use its loader arm to push or drag it out the wet mud because my workmate gets:cursing: with it. Bearing in mind woodmouses dream is in woodland, and in all probability will be used in the slack time of winter. Just my view though avant may be more nimble.

I use this one ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350722062.231157.jpg.6f250bfa30a06d4a5e6c26b7fc283172.jpg Mainly on the flat

But I've never used it in a woodland for the price you might be better off getting a small tractor with a loader on the front.

As for attachments stuff like the flail ( hydraulic powered ) make sure you buy one with the bigger pump other wise it's real slow.

I had a quick read of your other thread about starting up, I wish you the best of luck :-)
