Lombardy poplar today was hot but a bit of a breeze up top took the edge off it till I get back on the ground and pick up husky 3120 to fell and log butt.

Gave the little echo a good run on these rings, mostly ash and beech with some sycamore, very dirty with grit as they were on the boundary of an old sand pit. Killed three chains.
It was a tight squeeze getting them into the shed. Thankfully somebody had widened the lower portion of the door previously and the bucket just squeezed in.
I enjoyed the trips up and down the lane, spotted a little fungal growth too..

Tough day with the machine today, but got a reasonable amount of product out. I've decided that tomorrow shall be a maintenance day! Don't fancy sweating my balls off in the predicted heat.
