What sort of money did the tracked loader with the log grab cost Ian ?

 

 

£17,600 + vat plus delivery and any grapple you add to it. Then finance on top.

 

I posted a bit back of what mine costs exactly. With finance over 5 years plus a few grabs I think it's close to £30,000 to be honest.

From the pictures, I'm really surprised at the size of the sticks it can pick up.

Like you say, if you spread that cost over the 5 years and use it as much as you can I bet it pays for itself easily.

 

 

Yeah it easily covers it's costs. If I was buying one again it would be an 800tx for the extra 150kgs weight it can do a lot more.

Spent the last week carrying out pruning to some medium sized trees mainly Sycamore, Beech and an Oak. It mainly consisted of reducing the crowns, raising the canopies and some thinning/deadwood removal. The trickiest one was pruning a Sycamore which had been pollarded very hard in the past but I think ive done a decent job on it.
