Strange place for a kestrel to sit.

Love the little Boxer, but they do make a mess of grass.

 

 

It was a small sparrow hawk I think, it went on the floor afterwards. Looked like a black bird got killed.

 

Yeah they can really rip the grass up although it's not a big issue here. Most the time we board the access route but have had to do the same with hired Avants in the past as when loaded the front wheels bite in.

Started a hedge removal, 7 trees done today and 5 truck loads of chips. 3 phone lines, power cable, carport, fences and some other obstacles for good measure. Reckon there will be 3 tractor and trailer loads of timber on the last day

That looks like a demoralising task. Glad it's not me as id of been crying by 10am.
