Had this beech to do today. Had permissions for upto 4m reduction. It had a few old big snapped out limbs and generally looked in poor health, possible kreutz (spelling?) at base but no pics I'm afraid.

 

Still got a bit to do on the sides out the back and over the drive. The bit sticking up in the middle is a big limb coming out from further down, that will be brought right in when we come back.

 

Based on my rope length (or lack of it! ) the tree was 26m ish. My biggest overall tree reduction to date I'd say.
