What are you wearing while you climb?

Depending on the weather i usually wear a baselayer with a t-shirt when its cold, i either wear a vest or a t-shirt when its hot, i have some of the stretch air shirts on the way which im looking forward to trying out.

Airtex polo shirt usually

2 Airtex polos if it's cold

2 Airtex polos and a hoody if it's really cold.... that's unusual though....

 

And generally the same if it's raining.... cuz I'm well 'ard....

 

Quite fancy a Harkie smock for when it's really hosing down....

In the past few months I purchase a load of old long and short sleeved shirts from charity shops - good quality designer names for a couple of quid a go - i think it gives the right impression to arrive in a collared shirt and i find them very durable and being cotton they are breathable too. Id like to get a decent jacket for winter soon though.

Why not get some type "A"s???

 

Even those are too hot for summer ground work over here.

Winter, I wear type A and C climbing.

Thing is, I don't dawdle around dragging brash, I run alot so heat loss and wicking are important.

Back to the op, my missus buys a job lot of sweatshirts and t shirts from primark or tk maxx in neutral colours whenever we go back to uk. they last a few months but at those prices who cares?

Decathlon do breathable t shirts like the strech air for about £8..lots of colours etc.

T shirts or rugby shirts in neutral colours. If it rains I try to remove clothes rather than add them, skin dries quicker than cotton
