On the verge of splurging on a 460, although used rather than new sadly.

I want to run a 25" bar on it, mainly through native hardwood. I know 25 is the largest bar Stihl offer it with as standard new in the UK....

Presumably it's well up to this for logging and felling for the little use I'll give it....?

Doesn't seem to be that far behind a 650 and a fair bit lighter.... Ideal for me I reckon...

Someone back me up with some reassurance please, to take away the intense guilt of sticking it on the credit card...? :blushing::001_tt2:

Don't know about a 25" bar - we run ours with a 20" and it rips through hardwood. The 460 is by far the most overpowered saw we have so I'd guess there's spare capacity in the bar length department.

If I had to have one saw on my desert island - it would be a 460:biggrin:
