560XP not oling

Ive got a 560XP but ever since i started using it ive had one major problem. The machine starts and runs fine but after about 4-5 minutes the bar starts smoking and heating up, this is because theres no oil coming out. At first i thought it was just a blockage but ive taken it apart and thoroughly cleaned it and its fine. Also it happens everytime i use the saw now. Im using Stihl synthplus oil by the way. Anyone got any advice?

The equivilent Stihl is the MS362. The Echo CS-600 / 610 whips it. Best 60cc er I've ever had the pleasure to use / own. Plenty of other info on here and why it's a serious secret weapon.

Mine oils every time , never had a problem . Take it back to your dealer . Itys a warenty job .

And it sounds like some of the 066s had their chain brake handles made of black cheese:blushing::lol:

 

Sounds like a manufacturing issue if it has done it from new - take it back and get it repaired!

I had the same problem with my replacement 560. I checked the obvious and could find nothing wrong. It appears it was a priming problem solved by using thinner oil for a period then gradually returning to non-fling oil although I often use a mix. Worth a try.
