Insurance and running costs, i.e diesel are far more on a transit. Get a white escort van or similar (berlingo etc) for your tools to be stored away safe, then invest in a decent trailer and greedy board it right up. When you expand and buy a tipper the trailer will still be handy.

astra/escort van with trailer. keep it small. spend a couple of hundred quid on signwriting.

 

I have a 94 vauxhall combo, fantastic little runner.I have only been in business for about 11 mnths, so i still use it. As someone mentioned earlier,once these sort of vans are properly sign writen, they look realy good n respecable..:001_cool:

i started with a suzuki super carry pick up (same as rascal) with small 1/2 ton trailer

piad 800 for the truck it must have paid for it self a hundred times

somone always needs as before bit of rubbish cleared or some furniture moved

 

i think daihatsu still make them a garage local to me sells them fitted with a tipper for about 6000 brand new
