had to take this beauty down on monday, real shame, was causing subsidence on building to its right, anyone else feel bad when they gotta do this sort of work?

What's a real pity is that the subsidence could probably be cured by an engineering solution like underpinning, but that would cost more wouldn't it?

Bingo. Or put in better foundations in the first place, but that was obviously a silly non-business-like idea. The tree was clearly there before the building.

Would have been an even better idea to site that tin can, sorry, home somewhere else.:sneaky2:

The thing's probably still on wheels!

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
