I had a timber wolf 190 run it for about 2 years,it was a good machine easy to maintain and change the blades and it was reliable. I now own a schlising mx200 as our small chipper and in build terms it is better than tw. Schliesing have grease points for all the turning or wearing parts. I have used the Schliesing 220 when i was working in Germany and its a great machine and if I had the choice of a brand new 190 or 220 it's a no brainier.

I think if Schliesing chippers where cheaper brand new over here we would all be running them rather then timber wolf.

I don't want to derail the thread but why are you not considering the Jensen A540di?

IMO better than the Timberwolf, as good as the Schleising but a lot less money.

i highly rate jensens... either a 540 with the 45hp engine or the 440 with the 50hp engine

Bandit all the way been running bandit chippers and stumper grinders for ten years. The first 65e was not great but then went to a 90 excellent chipper then to a 150 140hp in 2005 1600 hour blades and grease that's it. Also 90 track and two 75 with no problems. Two years a go i started hiring, people love them over other chippers. Say no more.
