I used to course fish. Never fly fish but looked interesting.

But there is not many places to go down my way and most have to put fish back. That's why I've moved to sea fishing. Nice to come home with something to put in the freezer and have a go at butchering and cooking something new.

Reading this thread already has me looking back to my childhood where every minute i could i would be of to Newlyn pier Fishing ! it was great as i would see what the tide was doing , i remember fishing down there on the highest tides o the century and catching numerous Mackerel and Garfish .

Maybe im gonna have to make some time and have a look into getting the rods out of the attic and taking a little time off of work .

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
