Greenmech at the APF

I,d just like to thank PeteB for his generosity giving up his time for the Greenmech factory tour today, it just finished off our APF trip nicely.

I was in my element, really enjoyed it.

It's nice to see the production line of a guenuinley British manufactured machine.

The greenmech stand was once again a very professional, no bull setup

It was all possessions left in a tray at the door Stevie, they have some top secret development plant under construction and some futuristic manufacturing technique that they wouldn't like to be plastered over the net.

 

Good stuff though mate, you missed a treat, there were loads of gloria,s all long up in rows

I was really impressed by the set up, they really are "built in Britain".

 

And its a real "family firm".

Some of the least pushy yet imformative chipper salesmen around at the APF IMA, I like the look of the new arborist range but am not disapointed with my choice of a new quadchip. Peatb was happy to stand and chat and answer a few questions i still had and share some more of his many many bad jokes

Sometime in the not to far future iI would love to have a look at the factory as its only about 15 min away from the outlaws place and would give me an excuse to escape for a bit, and see hom a sucsesful british manufacturing company works of course.....

Thanks for the kind words, I'll get them printed off and posted on the notice board by the time clock. I feel that it is good for the chaps in the factory, like Big Geoff, Dan and Keith to see. It isn't that often that they get to meet and talk to the people who use woodchippers and are interested in how the are manufactured. Thanks again chaps, it was a pleasure.
