I'm only going by husqvarnas web site but according to that the 560xp has rev boost and the 555 doesn't. this apparently translates to 0.4kw power difference in favor of the Xp but the 555 is better part of £150 cheaper so my question is has anyone used a 555 and for my uses (coppicing/logging/) is it realy worth spending the extra for the Xp

well i whipped my exhaust off yesterday and the main oil case gasket is leaking badly so its going back again! I assume its got too hot and gone hard or something.......

The best saw i've ever had, old thread i know but so chuffed with it! Lighter and so less fatigue but so much power and better balanced. Flat felling cuts everytime.

yeah i got a 550

the best thing i would say is that it is very ergonomic when carrying. i have it in the right hand facing backwards.. built like an extension of ya hand!! very responsive and cuts like nothing else in its class. especially when compared to a stihl 261 and has the advantage of the chain staying on the bar!!

Its the extra revs it gives if the wood gets tough, it seems to go up a notch? love it but the cottage next to the woods doesn't, moaned about the noise!
