Stump grinder rental midlands?

So I put another thread up about deciding whether to start stump grinding at the weekends and its a very mixed response so I thought about renting one to have a go before I fork out all that money to buy one, luckily there is a stump in my garden. So does any body know where I can rent one in the Midlands area? Ive been in contact with HSS hire and they charge something like £125 a day plus VAT. Which I thought was a tad excessive. Any ideas?

That's not a bad price 125 a day , consider this , a wall saw for chasing out costs 40 pounds an that electric and cost about 300 to buy new

Have you tried Travis Perkins? Before I bought a small grinder I hired one of them it was about £80 for a day. 125 plus bat seems alot, but if you had a fee stumps to do then maybe.

We hire ours but only with an operator which is much more than the price you have been quoted. I think £125 is a fair price but I guess it depends on the machine.

At that price it's probably a pedestrian grinder. A real pita, Not certain if any companies hire out hydraulically controlled machines, TBH you would need a good day to learn how to use a bigger machine. Just my thoughts.

I hire out the Husqvarna Ped Stump Grinder in Nottingham, It's cheaper than what you have been quoted. I wont say which company i'm from as I dont want to be seen to be advertising (I dont think it is allowed). But you can PM me and I will give more info.

Hi we have a sc130 Vermeer small grinder and sc252 vermeer we hire with operator but I think price you have been quoted is quite reasonable really pm me if you want some prices for our machines

When you cut trees thrown to alter way for artifact or to strain your tripinnatifid, you lead behind those unsightly histrion stumps which represent your tripinnate to lie not so respectable. These thespian stumps are suicidal too as they can easily remark someone over and wound them, especially children. This is when someone needs the services of a tree stump grinder rental.
