Ideas for a woodland or forest

Like the red squirrel sanctuary idea, if it was my land I'd have a number of sculpture trails, something in the way of Grizedale and Lost Gardens of Hellagon. Build some tree house/stilt house pods for families to camp in or is it glamp? Open up some areas for those yurts too.

Great suggestions guys, maybe I should go for a nudist squirrel camp! where you can learn bushcraft (nude of course) sorted! I'm getting top marks for this!!!!! student of the year here I come. Ha ha,

I am going to start looking into the Red Squirrels, I have only ever seen them in Whinfell Forest. I get quite excited when I see one. Here in Cheshire we are "riddled" with the Grey. Our local park has a massive culling session every 2 years. This is Castle Park in Frodsham if anyone knows it. The townies call it "squirrel park" the ice cream man sells "squirrel nuts" at 50p for a bin bag full!! this is why we have so many of them.. not to mention the tree damage.

pine forests are lovely places, especially by the coast:biggrin:

Got to agree:thumbup:

Formby is my Home town (village) and the reds are a big part of our identity. Well worth a visit.
