Yeah thanks tommer, g.box rebuilt 2 years ago, transfer box done 12 months ago, props have no play in uj and rear diff is leaking and I can push the pinion up and down so transmission guy said diff defo needs doing first to get that sorted then see if transfer box is knackered again as it ran very low on oil.

Where do you guys get your transfer box parts/where do you take htme for repairs and service? Google is useless!

Gearbox came from ashcrofts but now get local transmission guy to fix bits. Half the price and I take the parts off and take to him to save the labour. Torbay transmissions is who I use here in Devon.

HI MATT nice land rover mate what it like on the FUEL ON THE ROAD we thinking of get a td5 90/110 thanks jon

Its a 300tdi and we got about 30mpg out of it today. Most of the time we were tickling along at not much more that walking pace due to ramblers being about.

Ok all done and only cost me £240 as I took the diff out and put it back in again setting the preload and backlash up.

Just turned the diaphragm a bit too to compliment my larger intercooler. Blooming lovely now!
