I've seen my dream 130......

It's one of these with portal hubs, air suspension, air lockers back and front, tipper + the brilliant tdv6 saluku engine installed from JE Engineering.... ;););)

The orange writing is what the spec becomes over standard (white).

Any one running a chipped tdci? Stage 1 tune is 160bhp so should be better for towing.

Yes, got a remap for mine from Pete Bell at Bell Automotive Systems (BAS).

Definitely worth doing, you'll wish you'd done it straight away. Much, much more driveable.

I've lusted after a set of the Tibus portals for my 110, or for a 130, for years. Oh! but the price! :crying: Can't really excuse let alone justify spending about £8k on the parts, and SWMBO would kill me!

Hi Treewolf,

Actually it's more than £8K.....

I spoke to Wolfgang Tibus recently and you also need wheels...

Basically:

"the price for the portals is 10500 Euro excl. tax + shipping.

This includes also the new HD axle shafts front and rear and also the extrta braces."

We make the portals with the bolt pattern 5x130 mm for Mercedes wheeled, We can also provide the wheels & recommend the: Our 8x16 double bead lock wheels are 600 Euro each. (5x wheels @ €3K + VAT)

They come with 65mm offset to keep the track as narrow as possible. (2,0m)

19% VAT IN GERMANY.....

Then you need tyres to fit the wheels.........
