That is one heck of a failure, out of interest is your land rover been lifted? I lifted mine and I put a wide angled prop shaft on the front and a spacer as the UJ's were quite tight, changed as a precaution.

 

yes 2 inches, funny you aske cos I saw the wide angle ones and they said in the advert better for lifted rovers? is this causing more wear do you think?

Big yes tony, when lifting it puts more stress on the UJ joints as they are running tighter. Highly advise changing to wide angle. Paddocks the place to get them. Hope this helps

I do love my 200TDi hard top 90, and I am keeping it, for the work.

 

But this landy was the one that made me fall for the 110
