Thinking of advertising some of my firms landrovers on arbtalk 2006 and two 2007 defenders . The only thing is they need new engines would anyone be intrested just testing the warter at the mo seeing what people think :)

No, you can't, and it would be illegal now anyway. Also I think illegal on Td5 models, although I'd have to look up the exact year.

 

On the Puma bonnets you wouldn't see past the wheel anyway!

 

Why is it illegal on Td5's? I thought you could get a kit for them for a bonnet mounted spare.

 

Swing away carrier for the rear will free up a lot of space in the back. Should be able to get one to fit with the tailgate.

HI PIRATE i no swed energy 110 nr us can not run spare wheel as there over there 3500kgs with them on :sneaky2:thanks jon :thumbup:

You mean they put so much kit in them that they would be overweight with a spare wheel?

 

I thought I carried a lot of stuff with me, but I've never got close to that! :lol:

HI MATE yes thats right the spare is on rear door but SWEB 110 ones are right up to 3500 kgs there td5 go very well to they now run puma engine ones thanks jon

What do they do if they get a flat?

 

And what all are they carrying in there? I run a 3500kg chassis (ex power board as it happens), and even with racking in the back, roof rack, winch, hand winches in the back, saws, fuel, etc, etc..... I was still below 3000kg the last time it was on a scale.

HI MATE it full up with kit large pto winch roof bars ones around here are right up on there weight and the back of 110 is very low all the time but they still go very well too I'm told on the new ones 06/07 reg on lots of gear boxes in them but they work them hard thanks jon
