Hmmm 24-26 sounds much nicer! May have to buy one in the spring! Reckon I could get anywhere near that with some new injectors? I have no idea when they were replaced but I bet they're well beyond the interval!

td5 will drop to nearer 20 when doing heavy towing depending on roads.

 

just had mine chipped and on first tank i got a steady 26mpg driving like a teenager. have just filled up again and yet to work out what i got driving a bit more sensible. will post up in a day or so.

mileage could change it, and mine is running a uprated transfer box, basically discovery gears so not sure how that affects it.

 

add my 2 inch lift, winch, roof bar with lights, jackable sills and big mud terrains and i hate to imagine difference between standard but its serious fun

Sounds excessive. My td5 tows a 935 almost all the time, and I get around 24-26 from it.

 

It has been "opened up" a little too!:sneaky2:
