I believe its a safety issue too. They don't meet standards they require.

 

I think the very old series are ok as they come in as a classic but the later models are against regs.

 

Its a shame, stolen ones and ringers end up out their so someone's pride and joy can be sent and crushed without them even knowing and hoping they may see it again one day. They may not expect it to be recycled and part of the fridge door!

 

im sure fowk were getting round this by fitting full roll cages at one point

Cheers Jon! She's come a long way from a rolling chassis 18 month ago, but always more to do. No room for chip in the back but the side kitchen locker might come in handy as my future arbtruck!

 

Which winch did you go for in the end Jon? I've a Husky up forward but thinking about fitting hydraulics in place of the aircon.

HI ALL I have pto drive hydraulic comes off the gears box high out put pump of a 200/300tdi and fit a TD5 all the pipes tank and the hydraulic spool block and rev cable will run large winch chain saw this is very well made kit it on arb trader just make me a offer thanks jon

Our red devil/menace/smoker call it what ya will went in for a few niggly problems. We only had 1 working main beam out of 4, the horns were shot and the rear shock bushes were knackered. Turns out the rear shocks were foobared, and we blew all but one of the main beam wiring looms lol. Dont ya just love 18 year old landies

Have used bfg muds good tyres on and off road, what rims are you putting them on. Looking to get modular rims when my tyres need replacing
