Hi mate, I got my spikes with the straps I stead of the Velcro, prefer it over Velcro, but that's just my opinion. See how you get on! Oh and mine are red

mistahben...Red sounds really cool...i used the carbon fibre ones with velcro and liked it a lot... got the Aluminium ones though..they are a quality spur no doubt about that:D Old mill...The pfanner protos is way ahead in terms of comfort..sticks to your head..low profile...Great visibility!! the only way to test its venting ,usability would be to climb,work in it..and it aint on sale until mid October..your head feels so safe inside it:thumbup: watch this space..i will get one and i will review it....
