With money burning a hole in my pocket i have been browsing for things to buy....for nine hours:001_rolleyes: Time to leave the house and get some fresh air. Something that did catch my eye. The gloves from oakley called "Fast Rope" gloves their technical specifications are futuristic to say the least! the palms are lined with "Aluminiumised Carbon X for perfect heat transfer" the knuckles are covered in Kevlar...they are flame resistant...cut resistant, weatherproof etc...etc...i don,t climb with gloves.never have but i can picture using these on 11mm rope with a Zig Zag nestled in them! cost,£125.

Same gloves over her for $140.00 US, however while looking at the item at Oakley ther was no mention of any warranty or guarantee?. For that kind of money I would expect at least a year under normal wear conditions. Ground dwellers 2 cents worth anyway.
