gr8 pics Silky. Nice to meet you and several other tree folk, Edwood, 5 Shires (and his lady Daisy Duke), That 'Birdy' kid was an interesting fella and totally dedicated to his 'tree life', super fit and what a foot locker!!! Had a laugh with some of the DART guys who were in fine form but alas i'm terrible at remembering names. Friday night in the Holford was a good laugh and I managed to 'spend some money.....' and had to be poked and prodded by the barmaid at 3.30am to wake up and go to bed. We were meant to camp over last night too but on returning to the campsite we opted to 'de-camp' and head home early as the weather looked like it was coming in so KFC Gordano beckoned. It was lashing down pretty bad as we cruised down the Somerset stretches of the M5 and I was glad to get home and into me own bed.

Overall twas a good show but glad it wasn't any smaller. It was my first time visiting Westonbirt and i'm keen to go back and spend more time wandering about the woodlands.

A big thank you to Andrew McEwan for the favour and again nice to meet another tree person.

Left Westobirt for another year (The Holford Arms is actually just up the road from the Arboretum in a place called"Knockdown") Great picture of it on the wall from yesteryear...20170514_091740.jpg.67ad170dc7922e06ead86135c6a833c6.jpg
