We have 270 hours on our Fixed hopper and 37 on this one already........but they are treated well....regular greasing and infeed speed adjusted throughout jobs....

Top man, I'm only up to 150hrs on mine in 6month but it's only running when it's chipping, tracked machines will always have more because they have to get themselves to the job 1st.

Have you seen the funky new features on the hill climber version where it has an electronic hydraulic pump so if the engine go's down for whatever reason it can still be tracked off site nd to a point it can be sorted, just shows they are really thinking!

You tried to keep up with the st8 didn't you, foolish on your own!

Hopefully your good again soon, hate a bad back!

Ha! You're absolutely right, loading massive branches like a fool.

How do you guys manage the roller speed?

On the side of mine it says take it down to 4.5 for green stuff and palm fronds (not an issue in Yorkshire I'm guessing)

Do you lower it for major pieces then fast for the whippy stuff?

6 for normal conifer

4 for hardwood as gives a nicer chip

3for full size timber

2 for micro chip if we are running out of room in the truck or need it to come out a bit more gently like filling the last bit of the trailer.
