Wherever i go i always carry this card that has all my unit numbers qualifications etc...it,a all up to present date ..All the clues are there that would suggest that i am Proffessional chainsaw opperative:thumbup1: plus climbing kit in my panniers is also a giveaway. i always come across every bit an Arborist whether i am on my bike or driving a 7.5 tonner with Chipper!...it,s all good for the travelling Arborist:001_tt2:

 

Why would you carry someone else's card around, surely it should have silky fox on it !

As i am still My Own Boss....i gave myself the day off:thumbup1:..it is a beautiful sunny day and there are things i needed to do. Cleaned my chainsaw this morning checked my climbing gear and put my stretch Airs in the washing machine:001_rolleyes:...this is my third week self employed so it was time to buy my first bit of Buisness Kit on the advice of a few people recently...An Invoice book....and a "Dinosaur Pasty" from Pether,s Butchers. Kew Gardens:biggrin:Highly Recommended if you,re ever this way. Going to chill out in the Garden and Check out Arbtalk this Afternoon:thumbup1:

Just written out my first invoice...Trawling through Arbtalk with Fred Dibnah on the T.V. They have just pulled down a tree with a steam winch and then it goes through the steam powered mill. Fred was one of my Heroes when i was a kid..:thumbup:....check out the hat on Fred,s mate:lol:...is that you Delabodge?:lol:

Silky Fox...no joke, having never personally met you, but based off your character on here, I think that you could do a similar show on tree work.

 

I mentioned it earlier in the thread, you could visit old time foresters who skid using shire horses and then visit some cutting edge arborists doing really tricky dismantles.

 

It would be a cracking show as you travel around Britain/Europe/Asia.

 

There must be someone here who knows someone in TV who you could pitch to??

It's already done, the company that made Inside Nature's Giants for channel 4 are looking into it. It may take a long time before they decide though.

I told em all about Arbtalk and Silky and to have a look at the thread for themselves.
