Airbag lifting

Used by the fire service for lifting vehicles off people. Good idea using for logging tho. Could use a built in compressor on a landy or even a mog. Then the compressor on the landy could be used for much more.

My Dad used to carry a lorry wheel & tyre for inflating tractor tyres, You can blow up 2-4 tractor tyres at 20-30psi of one lorry tyre at 100psi. Maybe a small commercial would be big enough to blow that up a couple of times.

That's an oldie, it had a wire edge to stop the saw. Worked off the same port that the decompressor fitted to later 262s and worked off cylinder over pressure. Never did manage to use one.

I used to use a shraeder device that worked off the spark plug for emergencies, pto pump otherwise.

 

It was a one way valve that on tick over sucked air in via the body preferentially as the inlet manifold had higher depression and then pumped it into a standard air line. We never had any problems from using it but it was a bit pedestrian.

You could over inflated your spare for one or two inflations and still have enough for if you have a puncture with that method Tom

When i first saw it i thought a bottlejack in the back of the cut is a much easier way of lifting over the tree. Then i saw about lifting up the felled stem for cross cutting. That is the greatest idea ever!

This demo is on the front wheel of the 130 and only about 10 psi

My mate had a few of them but had someone in mind for them, I,ll try get over next week and see if they are still there and if he can spare one more
