Like the bottom one Bob, think i will nick that idea and put a little vice on my chipper, not sure about the top pic, do you not find the spanner and light just fall of when traveling?

Like the top one Bob, those standard TW shoot clamps are a real PITA.

 

I would struggle to sharpen a saw in a vice, I just lean on the saw. It must be 10 years since I sharpened a saw in a vice.

the top picture shows the organic fertilization modification, this mod distribtes chips for about 10 yards allround the site and very even if there is no wind. Added bonuses of this mod is there is no haulage of chip or disposal.

been there stox got the t shirt and it is very impressive the bigger the chipper the more spectacular it is

but location is very important

i did have a demo one day on this mod and it is impressive but as you say location of demo is important as clearing it up is a pian in the chipper box!!

I also find that chipper operatives, dislike getting chip down the back off their necks, and so tend too slow down to a stuff and run method of feeding the chipper which slows productivity.
