I got fig8 multi loop and sling.

 

Can you just back up your hitch on single line with fig 8?

 

yea just use the multi sling in the video, then just add the figure 8 above your hitch, this creates more friction just like the rope wrench idea

Can always disconnected your dbrt system, pop a ring on it and bowline to the ring with a tail, same principle as the buttlerfly just no rope on rope and i find it frees up easier....

 

F8, munters or 8 to reduce friction and your away.

Have you tried passing a bight taken above your friction hitch, passing that through the rigging ring and attaching it to your bridge through a revolver. Your friction hitch carabiner also needs to be attached to your bridge. You need to make sure it seated well before you descend though.
