My other half got me a book to help get off the ground so to speak.

The tree climbers companion by jeff jepson. 2nd edition.

Anyone read this book and what did they think of it. I've had a quick flick through it and it looks good but going to start going through it later.

Good that was exactly what I was after. The basics. Having never climbed a tree before with ropes it sounds like a good first read.

Been reading through and some stuff I already know after watching and helping the climber from the ground but it's nice to have it in some more detail other than just being showed that's how it's done.

Got the arbtalk knotamathingy. Been using the guide for a while now. I've got two types, the arb one and a 3d one that animates the rope.
