Ms460 ?

I have a MS390 & XP266 both good saws - but they are like a 'push & go toy' compared to my MS460 (ok I fitted a twin port exhaust and retuned it = awesome bit of kit) with the retune it now uses more fuel so the fuel runs out before the oil.

I haven't used a ms441 to compare.

If most of your work is on the heavy side, then the 460 would be my recomendation.

I run 18" and 25" bars so best of both worlds

For felling and ringing up its perfect, and when snedding you dont need to stop walking.

Hope this helps.

So if you were to go along the stihl lines what model would you recommend? MS362?

Cheers

definatly not.. one of the worse saws stihl have produced.

come over to tha dark side and pick up a husky 560xp

or the 576xp.. however. the ms460 is a good saw.

576xp nothing but trouble since my mate bought one; replaced under warranty - next one crapped out too. Seriously glad I didn't get one instead of the 460.

had no problems with my two.. .. they take anything you throw at them.

considering getting one of them ported and a full wrap shipped over
