On a slightly off thread note . I always keep a packet of baby wipes in the truck for when you hit the fox , dog or cat **** whilst strimming . Worth having handy .

Hygiene kits are cheap enough, with the KASK lid you can pull em out simples, wash em a couple of times then change them for new

the headbands on petzle are replaceable as well

only a couple of squid

Dishwasher, every time. Do it about once every 3-4 months. (Use a normal tablet, don't put any dishes in with it and tie up the chin strap out of the way of the water spinning thingy.)

I clean mine only when I can't stand the smell. The stronger the smell the less likely I am to get the customer coming close and asking "while you're here you wouldn't mind just....."

don't bother with hygiene kit

just buy new muffs they are not much more and they will keep the pressure on and protect your ears.

I am always surprised when i work with other crews at the state of their muffs that have gone hard or split or just weak on the clamping bit.

Go On treat your ears it does make sense.

Pardon is not a word you always want to be saying:confused1:

P.s my wife always complains about my helmet smelling:blushing:
