What length is that E2E AP poly?

I've made up a few at 750mm but yours looks shorter - it got me wondering how short it could go.

At 680mm are you meeting the first buried taper when working on the second one?

 

Do you stop at 680mm because anything shorter just doesn't grip?

The shortest I tend to go is 75cm. The one in the picture might be a bit shorter but not much. I find anything smaller and the hitch doesn't function correctly.

 

Tried the cambium saver out today and works lovely. Just wished I'd made it a tad longer. Ah well I can always splice another :-)
