I would add I only clip the saw horizontally on a ladder or obstruction free ascent/descent.

 

Asking for a split right hand otherwise.

 

A mate once got 13 stitches from a 200 that jammed in a fork, turned off.

Caritool is a great way to keep your saw in check and it,s always there were you need it and not jammed in a fork or swinging about like a pendulum

 

PITA when it clips onto a branch behind you or at your side at that crucial moment when you reach out lol :sneaky2:

I attach my Saw lanyard to the top of the handle just below the trigger when its clipped up it hangs in a better position and the tip of the bar doesnt trash the bottom of your trousers. Not for everyone but i love having it hanging this way

Love my caritool, i like being able to clip the saw to my harness one handed, just wish they'd make them out of metal and with a solid gate, and they do always choose the most desperate moment to attach themselves to branches!

I often break caritools, so now I'm just using an ali clip instead...unbreakable
