You can make one for around £70, instead of £150 (albeit without the nice splices, but you don't need splices on a lanyard)

 

 

the ce landyard has no splices on it even! there stitched! you can make them cheaper than £70 to, depending on what cord and rope you use? the only difference to your own lanyard is the added prussic with the thimble!

 

 

Imo another sexy from DMM/Teufelberger/Treemagineers but worth buying one???? i think not!

you can buy those thimbles from Honey brothers and make your own, its a useful add on to the lanyard.

 

got the art positioner on my home made lanyard, and love it.

One of the guys I work a bit with has one but doesn't use it. He has gone back to his steel flipline for everyday work as he doesn't want to damage 150 quids worth of kit.

 

Why bother buying it if your not gonna use it.
