You should be able to fit a 3pl in a day or so but sourcing a donor unit may eat some time up

Driving an implement will be a whole diferent game, your dumper motor will be way too weedy for most things so you will need to fit an engine and gearbox

Regarding the PTO idea, toyed with these while thoughts lying in bed, more of a thinker than a doer I am, anyway, assuming one is looking at bigger tracked dumper , as I was, about 4 to 6 tonne capacity.

A hydraulic PTO unit, I know that there was one fitted to the self propelled sprayer that Kane Brothers built in the past.

IT looked like a "propriartiy" or "off the shelf " bought in bit of kit.

Since these tracked dumpers are hydraulic driven, there should be a good enough oil supply.

Obviousley flow and pressure would need to be matched.

But anyway anyway, Mooraka and Yanmar were way ahead of us and both produce rubber tracked agri tractors

As always

Gibber, mutter and twitch.

PS

Cautrac had a 2nd hand Mooraka tractor for sale!
