Unimog pain.

Well after a fraught few months i have come to the realisation that I no longer use my unimog for the type of jobs I used to. For that reason it's not earning it's keep so it is now being sold along with the reconditioned chipper.

 

The worst part of it is, I'm planning on replacing it with a Transit and Land Rover with tow along chipper. I can't believe I'm saying this, especially the LR bit, and I may have to kill myself as soon as I've bought one.

However, you have my word that I will never become a LR raver, I'll get the windows tinted so no one sees me in it and will deny knowledge of ownership if asked.

 

Anyway, it is what it is so I'm now off to vomit then drink myself to sleep.

I agree with huck, can you not keep it and also buy a tow along and tipper because it's sods law as soon as you sell it a good job will come along screaming MOG!!

In a totally unbiased way, Oldmilltrees, I agree with Huck in the fact I think you will regret this move. Post back in a few months time whether or not it was the right decision though, i think like others a job will come along that you just need a mog for it.

You could be right but one job doesn't justify owning a Unimog otherwise everyone would have one.

 

I won't be able to post back in a few months because I'll be dead following my LR purchase.
